Birmingham Chinatown re-design

The design of Birmingham Chinatown lags behind the development of China, which is not conducive to the spread of Chinese culture and cannot resonate with the Chinese people. My practices is re-design Birmingham Chinatown’s corridors to explore the concept of liminal as a cross-cultural experiences. The reason for the re-design is that the appearance of Chinatown does not fully represent the design of transcultural places in the contemporary social. Therefore, I will choose a square to be redesigned in Birmingham Chinatown and named it "Chinatown Garden".
